Project description:
The 2024 New York City Gensler interns will participate in a 10-week conceptual project to reconnect and revitalize the Harlem River waterfront in the Bronx by establishing a continuous greenway from Van Cortlandt Park to Randall’s Island.

The proposal envisions an inclusive and equitable future where access to nature and vibrant public spaces is available to all, transforming the Bronx cityscape into a dynamic celebration of its rich community history.
